Allison DiCaro, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist

Allison DiCaro is a New Jersey State-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Rainbow Speech Therapy LLC. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Allison earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University’s School of Health and Medical Sciences and her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Kean University.

Allison is trained in PROMPT, DTTC (Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing), and the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol. She has extensive experience working with children presenting with a wide range of speech and language delays and disorders, including early childhood speech and language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, traumatic brain injury, Down syndrome, attention deficit disorders, phonological and articulation disorders, sensory processing differences, hearing impairments, and expressive and receptive language delays/disorders.

With over a decade of experience in New Jersey public schools, Allison has specialized expertise in working with preschool-aged children with disabilities. She is highly knowledgeable in New Jersey special education policies and procedures, particularly in the evaluation process and determination of service eligibility for both preschool and school-aged children.

Allison is deeply passionate about early intervention, speech and language development, and fostering pre-academic skills. As a lifelong Monmouth County resident and mother of two, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work with families.

In addition to her clinical work, Allison is a classically trained singer who enjoys incorporating music into her therapy sessions to support engagement and learning. The song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” has been a meaningful and recurring theme throughout her life, symbolizing hope and optimism—values she strives to bring to every child and family she serves.
